Why I loved it:

“I was given the chance to work on high level projects and it was an excellent working environment – sports at lunch etc. The job was challenging, I was working with a variety of staff, departments and companies, and my work was thoroughly appreciated because I was assisting people.”

My best experience/greatest achievement:

“Sitting down in the evening and seeing the project I was working on in the news.”

What I learned:

“At TWI my main role as an intern was to assist project leads. The project leads manage and complete members’ projects. My work involved; CAD modelling, FEA modelling, creating spreadsheets, report writing, progress meetings and presentations, interpreting of results, working with standards and quality assurance sheets.”

About my experience/Tips for students:

“Make contacts! Attend careers fairs, discovery days and guest lectures. Make an impression and send them your CV.”
