What my job involves

Work  as a teaching assistant during the academic year. Courses include engineering economy, and project management courses. Work  on my PhD research and thesis.

What I gained from the UK experience

My experience in the UK opened  my awareness and  helped me to meet  multinational friends and cultures. In addition, as I had a pretty tight schedule as the Masters was block week courses I was a member of the Brunel Arab Society, which helped in networking and getting to know other students

My top tips for international students returning home

  • Get in touch with people you might know in UAE or Gulf and speak to recruitment companies as well as looking at company websites
