Why I loved it:

“It’s a laidback culture and environment offering professional training with qualifications and the ability to progress further dependent on one’s own ambition and motivation.”

My best experience:

“Working with our international partners in Poland in order to develop a proposal to transfer and implement a new UK based Security Operations Centre for Atos UK&I.”

What I learned:

“Adapting to the industry in terms of culture and business-language. Planning and prioritising of tasks are very important in order to complete the projects on time.”

About my experience:

“I graduated with a 2:2 in Business and Management (E-Business Systems) – that’s right, you never hear stories of graduates with a 2:2. I actually didn’t struggle to secure interviews – the struggle was to find the appropriate opportunities as all the popular sites advertised 2:1 graduate schemes. On average I revieved 1 interview every 2 months and finally secured a place on a graduate scheme 1 year and 4 months after graduating.”

Tips for students:

“I am a graduate Business Analyst working on Risk Management and Security for a department called Infrastructure Security. Currently I am working on high profile customer accounts including BBC, Sky, MoJ and DWP, and am resonsible for the management and the governance of their risks. There is a lot of scope to get involved in different areas of the business and you are assigned to projects. Your career is in your own hands.”
